Bush school

During the holidays we did an education day with all the children on Chishakwe.
Helen McGregor, a teacher from the UK, taught the children about the food chain and how it works.
After the lesson we divided the children into groups and  did a small quiz with them. The winning group received some colouring pencils to take home.

Wake up call!

Helen, one of the ladies currently visiting Chishakwe had a very different wake up call.
A pack of Wilddogs killed an Impala right out side the room she was sleeping in.
Something spooked the dogs and they ran away leaving their kill behind.
Not sure I would want to wake up to those noises in the middle of the night!
