Billy is a Ground Hornbill. He was found flapping around and unable to fly by our scouts. Fortunately they were able to capture him ... and avoid injury from that sharp bill ... and bring him into head quarters where he was kept and fed for a couple of weeks until he had regained enough strength to fly off.
A couple of days after flying off into the bush Billy decided that freedom was over-rated and found his way back into the garden for some "fast food" and a walk on on the lawn. He has now taken to hanging around not too far from his people who he fully expects to take care of his every need and wish!
